Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have agreed on the need for de-escalation in Yemen.

The agreement was reached during a meeting between US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.

The US Mission to Saudi Arabia said the crown prince and Pompeo also agreed on the need to adhere to the Sweden agreements, especially the ceasefire and redeployment in Hodeidah.

US Secretary of State also called on King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and exchanged views on historical and strategic relations between the two countries, latest developments in the Middle East and efforts being exerted towards them.
