
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has welcomed growing engagement between Pakistan and the United States, and the expansion of cooperation across multiple fields.
This came during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Paul Kapur in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional developments.
The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction over current momentum in Pakistan-US relations.
Ishaq Dar appreciated President Donald Trump's vision for peace, Iran-US ceasefire understanding and visit of US Vice President JD Vance to Pakistan. He also reiterated Pakistan's commitment to resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy.
He also underscored importance of regular high-level exchanges and sustained structured dialogue.
Speaking on the occasion, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Paul Kapur, appreciated Pakistan's role in regional mediation and noted the positive trajectory in bilateral relations.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen collaboration in trade, investment, and development.
