Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said Pakistani media played a vibrant role in disseminating accurate information to the public during the recent tensions with India.

Speaking during the Question Hour in National Assembly, he said the vibrant Pakistani media accurately portrayed the situation to the international community.

To a question, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary clarified that no fee was charged from the students enrolled in public sector schools.  He said students in these schools were also provided textbooks free of cost.

Minister of State for National Health Services Mukhtar Ahmad Malik told the House that around thirteen thousand young people were recently provided with civil defense training. He said during tensions with India, they played a vital role in ensuring the safe evacuation of people.

Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Zeb Jaffar informed the House that Pakistan International Airlines has been operating on profit over the past about one year. She attributed this positive financial performance to the airline’s operations on profitable international routes.
