Disbursement of financial assistance under Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program among deserving families is continuing across Pakistan.

In a tweet Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar said special arrangements have been made to sanitize hands of cash recipients while they get payments to ensure safety of Ehsaas Emergency Cash beneficiaries from COVID-19.

It may be added that 25.68 billion rupees have been distributed among 2.095 million deserving families across the country till yesterday under Ehsaas Emergency Cash program.

Ehsas Emergency Cash Program is the biggest relief initiative in the history of Pakistan, taken by the PTI government, to provide one-time assistance of 12,000 rupees to deserving families in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
