Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has called for the establishment of dedicated task forces in all provinces to urgently address anaemia and child stunting.
He was addressing the launch ceremony of the National Anaemia Reduction Plan for Women, Adolescent Girls and Children 2025-2030 in Islamabad today.

He said that investment in the health, education and well-being of women, girls and children is essential for strengthening Pakistan's human capital and achieving sustainable economic growth.
Ahsan Iqbal expressed the government's resolve to reduce anaemia among women and adolescent girls by fifty per cent by 2030.
