The Punjab government has stepped up pre-smog measures, with all relevant departments fully mobilized to curb air pollution across the province.

In a statement issued in Lahore today, Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said water was sprinkled on 1,122 kilometers of roads in a single day, while 219 road shoulders were repaired to reduce dust and air pollution.
