A special ceremony was held in Gwadar in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. 

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Corps Commander Quetta, GOC and other senior officials attended the ceremony.

On this occasion, speakers highlighted the importance of national unity, peace, development, harmony and love for the homeland.

Renowned singers and local artists presented national and patriotic songs as well as Balochi cultural songs.

The artists also presented a special tableau, while a traditional Leva dance by a cultural group added colour to the ceremony.

A special video on the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was also screened.
