The AJK Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal of former Prime Minister AJK Sardar Tanveer Ilyas challenging his disqualification by the AJK High Court.

The AJK Supreme Court heard the case today and restored the disqualification order of the AJK High Court in a court contempt case on 11th April.

In pursuance of the judgment of AJK High Court, Chief Election Commissioner AJK issued a disqualification notification for Sardar Tanveer Ilyas as a member of the AJK Legislative Assembly with effect from 11th April.
