The fifty-fifth death anniversary of renowned poet Mustafa Zaidi was observed on Sunday.

He was born on 10th October 1930 in Prayagraj, India.

He penned and published several books of poetry including Zanjeerain, Roshni and Shahr-e-Aazer while his last book Koh-e-Nida was published posthumously.

He passed away on this day in Karachi at the age of 40.
