A defence and cultural exhibition will be held in connection with Independence Day celebrations and victory of Marka-e-Haq at Shakarparian Parade Ground in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Parade Ground will be opened for general public at ten in the morning on Independence Day.

Cultural activities will be presented under Lok Virsa and these activities will highlight the culture of all four provinces as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Stalls of the armed forces will be set up at the defence exhibition and military equipment will be showcased at these stalls for interest of public.

On this occasion, military bands will play national and patriotic songs throughout the day to instill patriotism in the people.

Besides, the aircrafts of Pakistan Air Force will display acrobats besides para-jumping demonstrations.

The main objective of this program is to provide every citizen of the country with an opportunity to celebrate this historic day in a befitting manner.
