Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar has directed to start work on phase II and III of Greater Thal Canal project removing all impediments.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore, he said upon completion, the Greater Thal Canal will irrigate millions of acres in five districts of South Punjab.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the Chief Minister said that economic zones and industrial estates are being established on ten thousand acres in the province.

He said the government is introducing favorable reforms to boost the industrial sector in the province.
