
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed to complete the Elite Police Training School project by 31st of this month.
He was chairing a meeting during his visit to National Police Academy in Islamabad.
The Interior Minister said elite training for officers will be conducted at the National Police Academy instead of provinces from this year.
Mohsin Naqvi directed the installation of a solar system at the academy. Instructions were also given for the renovation of the existing academy building.
It was decided to construct three new classrooms equipped with IT facilities for modern training.
The Interior Minister instructed the establishment of a driving school at the national police academy where officers will receive training in modern driving and vehicle handling.
Mohsin Naqvi said crime scene rooms will be set up to further enhance investigative capabilities.
