A brave citizen laid down his life while averting a suicide attack on a security post in Attock's Jand area.

According to details, a suspected Kharji terrorist was moving near Jand and Khushhal Garh Bridge Kohat when he was stopped and asked identification by a local shepherd named Liaqat.

Upon this, the suicide bomber panicked and blew him up, also martyring Liaquat.

The martyrdom of Liaqat saved the local population and the security post of a major disaster.
