President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed the confidence that people in Pakistan can manage to overcome COVID-19 pandemic by following standard operating procedures to contain its further spread.
In a series of tweets, the President said these SOPs include wearing of masks, social distancing and hand washing.
He said statistics show that we have not overcome COVID yet, but it seems we can manage it.
The President said we have done well and Pakistan is on the mend.
He further said that he watches COVID statistics of Pakistan very closely and what is happening in region.

Stats are that we have not overcome Covid yet, are on the edge, but it seems we can manage it. Therefore continue to follow SOPs (Masking, Social Distancing, Hand Washing).And friends we must stop living with a defeatist attitude. We HAVE done well. Pakistan is on the mend 3/3
