In Afghanistan, armed resistance against Afghan Taliban regime has intensified.

According to Afghan publication Hasht-e Subh anti-Taliban National Resistance Front, Freedom Front and United Front claimed responsibility for seventy-three attacks from July to 1st September this year.

The Homeland Soldiers Front, National Mobilization Front, Freedom Movement, and Freedom and Justice Movement have also claimed attacks against the Taliban.

Hasht-e Subh reported that the expansion of anti-Taliban fronts this year is a result of domestic grievances.
