Law Minister Barrister Ali Zafar has said the lawyers have a fundamental role in upholding rule of law, ensuring human rights and safeguarding democracy.

He was talking to President Lahore High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi Bench Hassan Raza Pasha in Islamabad today.

Syed Ali Zafar said he is aware of the problems of lawyers and desires to resolve them in due course of time within the available resources.
