In Sudan, shelling and gunfire resumed in Khartoum after the 24-hour ceasefire ended on Sunday morning.
According to media reports, heavy artillery fire was heard in capital and its twin city Omdurman to the north while fighting also erupted on Al-Hawa Street.
Meanwhile, the United Nations says, nearly two million people have been displaced, including 476,000 who have sought refuge in neighboring countries.
