Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (R.A) is being observed with religious solemnity today.

Special security arrangements have been made for security of Imambargahs and Majalis as well as for smooth flow of traffic across the country. 

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during a meeting with prominent religious scholars in Lahore, has said all mourning processions across the country marking the day will conclude by the time of Maghrib prayer.
