South Africa's Navi Pillay has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

She is currently a judge on the International Court of Justice in a case in which Myanmar stands accused of genocide.

She also headed the Rwanda genocide tribunal and presided over a UN commission which accused Israel of genocide in Gaza.
