Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad, today to discuss the overall political and security situation of the country.

The prime minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and Federal Minister Ahad Cheema.

Senator Sherry Rehman, Syed Naveed Qamar, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and Dr. Asim Hussain were also present on the occasion.

The meeting agreed to convene separate sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly on Tuesday.
