World Suicide Prevention Day is being observed today to provide commitment and action to prevent suicide.  

This year theme of the Day is "Changing the Narrative on Suicide with the call to action, start the Conversation".

Suicide is a major public health challenge, with more than seven hundred thousand deaths each year globally.
