Significant progress has been made in agricultural development and welfare of local farmers in Balochistan under Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI).

Under Phase-I, 3,800 acres of land in Dukki, Qila Saifullah and Sibi were made cultivable, with 144 solar-powered tube wells installed.

In Phase-II, another 8,481 acres in Kohlu, Barkhan, Chaman, Nushki, Dera Bugti, Zhob, Mastung, Quetta and Qila Saifullah were brought under cultivation.

The two phases have benefited two hundred and eighty eight farmers, while wheat, cotton and orchards cultivated on the newly developed land are generating local employment, boosting agricultural production and supporting economic self-reliance.
