Security forces have foiled Fitna al Khawarij's cowardly attack on Federal Constabulary in Hassan Khel area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to sources, six personnel of the Federal Constabulary embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting in defense of the motherland.

In retaliatory action, security forces also killed eight Khawariji terrorists.

Funeral prayers for the martyred personnel have been offered.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry and senior police officials attended the funeral prayers.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, the Interior Minister and the Minister of State for Interior said that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain and that the nation would always remember the supreme sacrifice of these brave sons of the soil.

Mohsin Naqvi said we share the grief of the martyrs' families and will not leave them alone in this difficult time.

Talal Chaudhry said the entire nation stands united and resolute against terrorism.

Sources said the terrorist attack is clear evidence that Fitna al-Khawarij and other terrorist organizations have safe havens inside Afghanistan.
