Dr. Hassan Daud But (Economic Expert):Establishment and Implementation of special economic zones under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project are very beneficial for China and Pakistan. Therefore, both brotherly countries are very aggressively pursuing this agenda. The road map of economic zones is among key basic pillars of CPEC as economic zones are very important for inclusive growth and development of Pakistan and China. These zones were also discussed under during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to China. These are also related to the integration of supply chain and trade between both the countries. Therefore  Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal rightly pointed out that these zones are very related to the development as well as very crucial regional connectivity. Moreover both Pakistan and China are now moving towards B2B and collaboration for promotion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. So the role of all the relevant agencies and departments is very crucial in this connection. Both sides need joint ventures for promotion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. In this process role of embassies and other government institutions is also very important because they issue visa and offer facilitations to business leaders from both sides. These facilitations and incentives enable business leaders can take immediate decisions for investment and entrepreneurship.
