The Islamabad Police has made foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali, to be observed across the country tomorrow.

In a statement, Spokesperson of the Islamabad Police, DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq, said more than three thousand officers and personnel of Islamabad Police will perform security duties at different localities in the city.

He said the Traffic Police has also made special arrangement to continue smooth flow of traffic on the occasion.

The DIG Islamabad Police said elaborate security arrangements have also made for security of Imambargahs and Majalis and all roads and streets leading to Imambargahs have been sealed. He said snipers have also been deployed at the rooftops along the procession routes.

The Spokesperson of the Islamabad Police said special checking would be conducted on all entry and exit routes of the city. He said the security and safety of the citizens is foremost priority of the police.
