Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated governance innovation lab in Islamabad today (Friday) to ensure good and transparent governance through civic engagement.

Speaking on the occasion, he said this laboratory is the first of its kind which will work towards introducing technology and improving delivery in public sector departments. 

Ahsan Iqbal expressed confidence that it would also find solutions to important problems including economy.

The Minister said government believes in practical steps to check corruption and ensure transparency. 

He said during our last tenure in government, we demonstrated zero tolerance towards corruption. He added corruption index of Pakistan increased during the era of PTI.
