Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry says continuous consultations with coalition partners have been held regarding the proposed twenty-seventh Constitutional Amendment.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the Pakistan Peoples Party expressed agreement on three specific points.

He said that only the areas on which consensus are reached will be incorporated into the amendment.

Meanwhile, a joint meeting of Senate and National Assembly's Standing Committees on Law and Justice will be held today to consider the Twenty-Seventh Amendment Bill, 2025.

The meeting will co-chair by Chairperson of Senate Standing Committee Senator Farooq H. Naek and National Assembly Standing Committee MNA Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk.
