Seven terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij have been killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan. 

According to security sources, a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists.

President Asif Ali Zardari has commended security forces for their successful operation in North Waziristan.

In a statement, he said the conspiracies of terrorists’ foreign sponsors and their local facilitators would be thwarted at all costs.

The President said the entire nation stands with its security forces in the war against terrorism.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commended security forces for their successful operations against Fitna al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement, he reaffirmed the government's resolve to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
