In Afghanistan, rescue and relief operation is continuing in quake-hit areas of Herat Province.

More than 2500 people have been killed and thousands others injured in the 6.3-magnitude quake.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has appealed international community to come together and support the people hit by the deadly earthquake.
