Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has invited Japanese company Sumitomo Corporation to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s mining sector.

The Japanese company will assess the potential for investment in Pakistan’s mineral reserves and new mining projects.

The country’s mineral resources, improved investment facilitation and policy stability are making Pakistan an attractive market for foreign investors.
