Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says Punjab Development Program has introduced a culture of balanced development across the province.

Talking to the Members of the Punjab Assembly from Vehari, who called on her in Lahore today, the Chief Minister said farmers in South Punjab are benefiting from initiatives including the Kisan Card, laptops and merit scholarships.

She further said the new drainage schemes across the province have significantly improved the situation during the current monsoon.

The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for converting the long-neglected Vehari-Multan Road into a dual carriageway and for launching the electro bus service in the area.
