Speaking at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Conference in Lahore, he highlighted the transformative impact of digital technologies on the accounting profession and stressed the need to adapt to evolving global trends.
Underscoring Pakistan's immense economic potential, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that strategic reforms, regional connectivity, fiscal discipline, and institutional strengthening are positioning Pakistan as a strong and sustainable economy.
Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan's constructive role in promoting regional peace, stability, dialogue, and economic cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized regional collaboration through SAFA, youth empowerment, and the Government of Pakistan's commitment to reforms that promote efficiency, accountability, sustainable development, and shared prosperity.
He also congratulated Institute of Cost and Management Accountants Pakistan on completing 75 years of excellence in advancing the accounting and finance profession and contributing to institutional development in Pakistan.
