The Balochistan Cabinet has approved launch of Electric Bikes Scheme for people particularly students, working women and government employees at thirty percent subsidy.

The approval was granted at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.

The scheme will be implemented through bank financing to ensure maximum public participation.

The cabinet also approved the introduction of a comprehensive health insurance scheme for government employees to ensure a transparent, efficient, and sustainable healthcare system.

In a move to promote youth empowerment and economic self-reliance, the cabinet approved the expansion of the Enterprises Development Program to Gwadar, Ketch, and Awaran, enabling more young people to benefit from entrepreneurial opportunities.
