
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says Pakistan wants improved relations with Afghanistan because of shared language, religion and way of living.
Addressing a function in Mardan, he said the government is working to enhance trade ties with Afghanistan. He said Landi Kotal road will be made an economic corridor.
Asad Qaiser said steps are afoot to increase the employment opportunities in erstwhile FATA.
The Speaker said introduction of reforms in the tribal belt are among his priorities and no effort will be spared for the development and progress of the people of this area.
He said the government is working to develop Pakistan on sound footings which is evident from the recent reports of international rating agencies about the country.
