The three-day Pakistan Tourism, Sports and Family Festival concluded today at the Sports Complex in Islamabad, bringing together tourism, sports, culture, adventure, food, arts and crafts, family entertainment, and public engagement under one platform.

The festival featured a diverse range of activities, including paragliding, rock climbing, tent pegging, a vintage car show, hot air ballooning, cultural performances, traditional crafts, food stalls, and entertainment activities for families.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the successful organization of the mega event, saying such initiatives play a significant role in promoting the country's positive image and soft power.

He emphasized that similar events should be organized across the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has suffered greatly from terrorism over the past several years.

The Governor said the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were equally eager to participate in such recreational activities to showcase their talents and promote their rich culture, traditions, and heritage.

He further stated that the province had embarked on a new journey towards development and stressed the need for the support and cooperation of all stakeholders to work together towards a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
