In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the district administration has intensified its operation against encroachments and illegal constructions along Peshawar Ring Road on the directives of the new provincial government.

The initiative aims to restore the original beauty of Peshawar Ring Road and improve traffic flow.

The district administration is also expediting renovation and restoration work on various sections of the road.

Over the past thirteen years, illegal constructions by the land-grabbing mafia, allegedly backed by political patronage, have damaged Peshawar Ring Road and affected its beauty.
