Victory in Marka-e-Haq strengthened Pakistan's position on global stage: DG Saeed Ahmed
May 08, 2026

Director General Radio Pakistan, Saeed Ahmed Sheikh, says the lies of the Indian media during the 2025 war have become a 'case study' for international media universities.

Talking about Marka-e Haq during his visit to Karachi, he said the contrast between truth of the Pakistani media and false propaganda campaign by the Indian media during the 2025 Pakistan-India war has now become a subject of global academic research.

He pointed out that while the Indian media repeatedly claimed to have conquered Pakistan's coasts, major ports, and large cities such as Lahore, the ground reality was entirely different.

Saeed Ahmed Sheikh noted that the Indian media's exaggerations were so extreme that they were ridiculed even within India itself. He mentioned that an Indian Member of Parliament mocked his own 'Godi Media' on the floor of the House for making false claims, such as the capture of Karachi, and for misleading the public by showing the sea near a city like Rahim Yar Khan.

He revealed that media universities around the world are now using the 2025 war as a case study for their students. The objective of this study is to show how the Pakistani media presented a factual narrative while the Indian media relied solely on falsehood and propaganda.

The DG Radio Pakistan concluded his talk with a verse of the Holy Quran, stating that while there were many reasons for this success, the most significant factor is that: "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished; surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish."

He emphasized that the victory of truth in Marka-e-Haq has significantly strengthened Pakistan's position on the global stage.
