Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude for Turkiye's efforts to promote de-escalation and maintain peace in South Asia.

In a post on his X handle, the Prime Minister mentioned the telephonic conversation held with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He said Pakistan appreciates the prayers of Turkish brethren for the martyrs of yesterday's heinous missile strikes carried out by India.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan will protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
