
Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the surrender of more than one hundred separatists in the province is a positive and encouraging development.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad today, the Chief Minister stressed that the state must remain above all else. He said that political differences and personal interests must be set aside to ensure that the country's welfare comes first.
Paying tribute to Pakistan's armed forces, the Chief Minister said the military demonstrated its strength and professionalism during the war with India in May this year. He remarked that the conflict exposed India's true face to the world and showcased the capability of Pakistan's forces to confront and overcome an enemy seven times larger.
