Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad and discussed matters relating to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Prime Minister said rising terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have to be stopped at all costs.

He said the government wants Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to develop like other parts of the country.

The Prime Minister said we highly value the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the fight against terrorism.

The Prime Minister directed that effective measures should continue to be taken to ensure the welfare, development and provision of basic facilities to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and the prosperity of their people are among the government’s priorities.
