Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK conducts two counter-narcotics operations in Arabian Sea

Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK, deployed in the Arabian Sea, has successfully conducted two counter-narcotics operations at extended ranges from the Pakistani coast, seizing a large quantity of narcotics.

According to ISPR, during the operations, two dhows were intercepted, and approximately 850 kilogrammes of Ice and 2000 kilogrammes of Hashish and Cannabis were recovered from concealed compartments inside the vessels.

The seized narcotics, valued around 96 million dollars, were taken into custody and will subsequently be handed over to concerned authorities for further disposal and legal proceedings.

These successful operations reflect Pakistan Navy's sustained presence, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to regional maritime security and the fight against illicit trafficking at sea.
