Kashmiri Americans along with friends of Kashmir, gathered in New York to reject India’s settler colonialism and show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

The rally was jointly organized by all Kashmiri American Diaspora organizations. The protesters carried placards and banners demanding decolonization of Kashmir and asking the United Nations to wake up. 

They demanded release of all Kashmiri prisoners including Yasin Malik saying Kashmiris reject Indian occupation, demand human rights, and right to self-determination.
