June 07, 2025

Head of Pakistan's Parliamentary delegation and Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that India is using water as a weapon and depriving 240 million people of water is an open aggression.

Addressing a news conference along with members of his delegation in Washington DC, he said India cannot unilaterally hold Indus Water Treaty in abeyance. He said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been adopting an intimidating posture.

He said that India is telling lies to the entire world, including its own people.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan as Indian Naval Officer Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested from Balochistan. He said that during the recent conflict with India Pakistan shot down six Indian fighter jets but India took one month to admit it.

He said that 20 Indian jets were on target of PAF but Pakistan observed restraint. He said that no Pakistani aircraft had been damaged during the operation.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan is desirous of peace and wants to talk to India on all issues. He thanked the friendly countries for supporting Pakistan during tensions with India.
