Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is playing a pivotal role in bringing investment to Pakistan, driving industrial development and implementing key reforms.
Last month, as a result of SIFC’s reforms, significant progress was observed in investment and industrial growth in Pakistan.
Secretary Apex Committee for SIFC Dr Jahanzeb Khan said the SIFC is actively involved in large-scale agricultural farming, logistics, railways, motorways, pharmaceuticals, and warehousing projects. He said establishment of seven new cement factories has been facilitated, which is expected to boost industrial production and employment opportunities.
The Secretary Apex Committee said SIFC has revitalized the M-12 motorway project, strengthening the North-South corridor. SIFC has also played a significant role in the health sector by launching the Medical Tourism Initiative to make Pakistan a regional medical hub.
