Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has said the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq reflects Pakistan's national resolve, unity, and strategic vision.
Addressing a Marka-e-Haq seminar in Islamabad today, he congratulated the nation on the occasion.
He said the success in Marka-e-Haq raised the nation's head with pride and was the reflection of victory of Pakistan's narrative at the global stage.
He said India's entire premise of aggression was based on propaganda and fiction, but Pakistan responded in a manner that exposed India's false claims and revealed its actual intentions to the world.
Attaullah Tarar remarked that India has a pattern of externalizing its internal issues while internalizing external matters. He pointed to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, saying it is an internationally recognized dispute, yet India attempts to portray it as an internal issue while diverting attention from its own domestic challenges.
The Minister said India has a history of false flag operations and building misleading narratives to conceal its weaknesses and extremist tendencies. He also referred to India's state-backed assassination attempts and espionage activities.
Attaullah Tarar emphasized that Pakistan has always remained a frontline state in the global fight against terrorism and has rendered the greatest sacrifices, including the highest number of martyrs among security forces in this struggle.
Referring to recent events, he said the lack of security at Pahalgam and the immediate registration of an FIR within minutes raised serious questions about India's intentions, especially as the incident was still unfolding.
He noted that Pakistan immediately condemned the incident and offered a transparent and impartial investigation, but India did not provide any clear response and disregarded the proposal.
He said during the entire situation, the Pakistani nation stood firmly behind its armed forces and the government.
The Information Minister also praised the role of younger generation and Gen-Z, saying they effectively countered hostile narratives through digital platforms, even using humor to strengthen Pakistan's message and demonstrate that the nation could not be taken lightly.
He also lauded the role of the media during Marka-e-Haq, saying Pakistani media acted responsibly and upheld facts with seriousness in a highly sensitive environment. He also appreciated Pakistani social media users for promoting the national narrative and ensuring Pakistan's voice remained dominant in the digital space.
Attaullah Tarar expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and the country's civil and military leadership for their role and guidance during the period that brought Pakistan a resounding victory and earned the country respect and prominence among the comity of nations.

Addressing the event, Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Musadik Malik said Pakistan defeated India not only in the war of narratives through facts and evidence but also demonstrated its superiority during the Marka-e-Haq.
He said the Pahalgam incident was a pre-planned conspiracy aimed at targeting Pakistan and maligning the country through a false narrative. He said India has a tendency to blame Pakistan for its internal problems and launched unprovoked attacks across the border.
Musadik Malik congratulated the nation on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq and appreciated the political and military leadership for their determination and steadfast stance, which led the country to success.
