CEO Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Dr. Ali Razaaq says entire population in all districts of Punjab have been provided Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card facility since 31st of March this year.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan's Lahore Correspondent Sajjad Parvez in a program Lahore Insight on Thursday on the eve of World Health Day, he said that all families residing in Punjab have been eligible for availing medical treatment annually upto one million rupees.

Terming Health Card facility as a flagship program for the welfare of people, Ali Razaaq said that 776 government and non-government hospitals have been empanelled in the list of card and the quality of services is being regularly monitored in all hospitals.

He further said that 30.45 million families in Punjab have been benefitted from this facility. He said that dialises of 180, 522 patients were done from this Health card facility.

He further said that patients of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, burns and road traffic accidents, last-stage renal diseases and dialysis’, chronic diseases (TB, Hep A/B/C, HIV, chronic liver disease), organ failure, oncology, and neurosurgical services can get the medical treatment from this Health card.
