A delegation of the Cable Operators Association called on Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar in Islamabad today.

On this occasion, detail discussion was held about the issues being faced by cable operators and options to resolve them.

Additionally, financial and legal issues being faced by cable industry also came under discussion.

The delegation apprised the Minister about their problems and Attaullah Tarar assured them to resolve their issues on priority basis.

The Minister highlighted the important role of cable operators of providing access to information sources to the public and said that they disseminate information through news, educational programs and documentaries.
