Foreign Ministers of eight countries, including Pakistan, have strongly condemned statements by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

In a joint statement, the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Türkiye, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates rejected proposals and plans aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, describing such moves as a flagrant violation of international law, including international humanitarian law.

They reaffirmed their unequivocal rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people, whether within or outside the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

The Foreign Ministers warned that turning calls for forced displacement into declared policy or concrete measures would have grave consequences for regional peace and stability.

They said such actions would also undermine international efforts to achieve peace, including President Donald Trump's Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, which rejects forced displacement.

The Foreign Ministers stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They underscored the need to preserve the unity of Palestinian territory, comprising the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

They reaffirmed that the only path towards a just and lasting peace is the implementation of the two-State solution, with the establishment of an independent Palestinian State along the lines of 4 June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant international resolutions.

The Foreign Ministers also called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to firmly oppose any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

They reaffirmed their full support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land and rejected all attempts to erase the Palestinian cause or undermine the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
