Eid Milad-ul-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaih-e-wa alihi Wassalam was celebrated on Saturday with religious fervor and solemnity. 

The day dawned with thirty-one-gun salute in  the Federal Capital, and a twenty-one-gun salute in all provincial capitals.  

Special prayers were offered after the Fajr prayer for unity of the Muslim Ummah and the progress and prosperity of the country.

Special arrangements were made by the government to commemorate 1500th blessed birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallah-o-Alaih-e-wa alihi Wasallam.
