Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said Pakistan's right to water under the Indus Waters Treaty is its inalienable right and is our lifeline which we will protect.

In a post on X, he said India's failed unilateral attempt to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance has no legal or moral standing.

He said this act has caused India nothing but embarrassment. It is a clear violation of the "One Water-One Vision" principle endorsed by the United Nations.
